The fall is here. I love wearing the layer of clothes. I bought a pair of fingerless gloves and slippers.
Whoohoo! I mentioned banquet necklace by elephantine and Jotote camera bag in the post. They both arrive today! what a perfect timing. In real life banquet necklace looks lovely as seen on elephantine online. And Jotote camera bag is in a great condition. I'm surprised it got a good black leather. I love it!

Yesterday, my friend texted me to meet up at Mojo Cafe in West Village (NYC). Mojo Cafe was a really nice and airy atomsphere. Laid back people bring their laptop to the table and drank beverage and ate food. They were doing their things.
I ordered:
*ginger lemonade
*quesadilla: black beans, cheese, corn, picodi gallo.
I devoured quesadilla. My stomach growled for more! ginger lemonade was good, it tastes strongly lemonade and a bit of ginger. What a satisfying meal I ever had. Does these photos make your mouth watering? =)

Due to the tropical storm weather, I'm staying in most of the time. I've been surfing internet to keep my entertained. Also I've been looking for camera bag that I would like to carry my dSLR camera with me on a day to day basis. These bags at the above, I can't decide which one I'm gonna get. I love them all!

I borrowed Trattoria book from someone I knew, but I ended up keeping it. I cooked one of its relaxed Italian recipes- pizza rustica. It was sooo good. I have easy breaskfast & brunch and it is very simple recipe for morning treats. I'm going to pick a recipe from it. I love egg benedicts! I purchased Plate to Pixel Digital Food Photography & Styling a few weeks ago. When it arrived, I read it right away. so much to learn. how to photograph food properly. ISO, shutter, Aperture and use natural light. I will post food photos in the future.
Crabcake with scrambled egg and grits. Three layers of chocolate chip pancakes with mini scoop of butter. They were both yummy!
I have been to DC twice, and my first time in Old Town, Alexanderia, VA. My friend showed me around in DC and took me to Old Town. There is a free trolley you can hop on! I had a lovely weekend.

I looked through my old photos on my mac laptop and I found my old home photo. I grew up in that house when I was young. When I looked at this photo above, I reminisced about my first nine years of my life in the province of Guangzhou, China. I have many wonderful memories from that time. I have visited my hometown in 2001 with my parents. While I took a stroll with my cousin in the village, everything was not the same as I remembered, which made me sad. Some old neighbors were not there ( up in the heaven) and little friends I used to hang out with moved away to the city and worked there, and their parents were still around. Gosh it's been 10 years since the last time I visited! I think it's time to make a trip.
ps: maybe you notice I haven't posted anything for the past few days because the internet had been down. I was very frustrated, but I realized I was really addicted to the internet!

My friend and I took off to the Beach in Montauk last Sunday. I have never been there so it was the first time for me. I was kind of reminded of the Ocean Beach in San Francisco where I grew up. The sunshine kissed me all over. It was really nice and also the weather was soooo perfect... luckily we came there at the right time! And I took a few shotsnaps to share with you.

I love this workspace, and the big windows that I can look out what's out there...a bird flying around and a ray of sunshine. This woman in a chair seems to be relaxing in her workspace. I envy her!

cool rooftop in copenhagen
Danish Firm JDS architects has designed a incredibly cool rooftop in a densely populated area of Copenhagen. I'd love to have that rooftop!
